Black & Decker SDC740B

I purchased the Black & Decker Spacemaker coffeemaker Model SDC740B. Please!! Don't waste your time and money on this unit, unless you want to drink your coffee off the counter. 95% of the time it leaks over making a mess of coffee and coffee grinds on your counter. It's hard to understand we can't make a coffee maker that works!

I purchased and installed - the first quandry was mounting - I passed that. I ran a couple pots of plain water thru as a cleaner and noted puddles under the pot on the counter and excessive steam above on the cabinets - A couple pots of coffee now have not improved the leakage issue and whaT A PAIN it is to clean the coffee filter basket and pot. The basket has TOO many nooks and crannies that hold water and it does not drain well. This coffee maker will most likely be heading back to the Chinese...
