BPA in the
Aldi Espressi Machine?
Is there any BPA in ALDI expressi machine?
From Randy:
Not much information available on the Aldi Expressi machine. Couldn't find out if it had BPA or not in the unit. This is a smaller and less expensive version of the Nespresso pod machines. However, unlike the Nespresso coffee maker, this one doesn't use Nespresso coffee pods, it has it's own version of pods, which are cheaper.
You cannot reuse these pods once they have been used. However, I did read about someone who had figured out how to reuse them, but it took longer than it would to just make the coffee in drip coffee maker, so not sure it would be worth the effort.
I believe this is an Australian machine, so buying one in the United States might be difficult. The pods would also be hard to find here.
