Brew Rite 8/12 permanent filter basket

The filter would be great if it was about a quarter of an inch shorter and about a half in wider. Hamilton Beach makes a coffee pot(brew station)for which this item would be perfect but it prevents the lid from closing properly due to the height. I'm sure I haven't been the only person who has bought the filter basket and had to return it because of this problem. If you ever correct this, I'm sure you will have a seller.
