You have easy access to the water reservoir and the removable filter basket with the one piece cover. The carafe is a Perfect Pour glass carafe that has water-fill markings and brewed-coffee markings. The carafe has a drip-free spout so you don't dribble coffee all over. The carafe also has a stay-cool handle keeping you safe from being burned. You have a water level window and a non-stick warming plate to keep the coffee warm after brewing.
To keep you counter clutter free the unit comes with cord storage. The coffee maker measures 9 4/5 inches x 7 1/5 inches x 10 4/5 inches. Other than being a smaller capacity unit this has all of the features of a larger B&D brewer. That being said this smaller coffeemaker is great for college dorm rooms, apartments, or smaller households. It uses a 4-cup or 8 to 12 cup basket filters. Overall this is a small and easy to use coffee brewer.
