This DeLonghi Espresso Maker is a 15-bar pump-driven espresso machine with durable stainless-steel broiler. This unit has 2 thermostats for separately controlling steam pressure and water pressure. This unit is self-priming and can be used with E.S.E. pods and ground espresso coffee. The 35 ounce water tank can be filled from the tap as it is removable from the espresso machine. The swivel jet frother allows you to make frothy milk beverages such as cappuccinos and lattes with ease. You get a perfect crema with the patented dual-function filter which mixes air into the brewing process. Easy cleanup with the removable drip tray and water tank. This espresso machine measures 7 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches by 11 1/8 inches and has a one year warranty. This is a very affordable machine for a pump-driven type and produces the rich crema that you expect on your espresso. The unique 2 in 1 filter allows you to choose between pods or ground coffee. The self priming feature speeds up the brewing so you get that first cup much quicker. This 1000 watt unit comes with an easy to understand user guide to get you started quickly. Summary: Overall customer reviews are mostly positive citing some or all of the PROS listed above. For the price of the machine they considered it a great buy. Need to remember it is only a 2 shot machine, not meant to make large quantities of beverages. Could use a better frother, suggest purchasing a better one separately.
