Is there ever going to be goya coffee for the Keurig coffee machine? would be nice!
From Randy:
That would have to be something that the makers of Goya Coffee would have to decide and work out with the Keurig coffee company. Personally, I don't know how it is decided what brands and/or blends are made into K-cups. But I am assuming that it is worked out between Keurig and the coffee manufacturer.
But you can have any coffee brand, blend, flavor, or whatever tea or hot chocolate, or beverage of any kind that can be made in a coffee maker made into a k-cup. Just use refillable K-cups, which are available from several different manufacturers. They work just fine, and are much cheaper than buying pre-made k-cups. The only difference being is that you yourself has to put a little more effort into by making them yourself.
To find a list of available refillable k-cups, you can check out my
refillable coffee pod page. It gives a list and a short review of each particular brand or style. They come in a variety of price points, and they all will work in any Keurig brewer that uses k-cups.
The most popular one currently is the
Ekobrew Cup. These are rather economical, especially when compared to pre-made k-cups. Then there is the
k-saver which is a cap that snaps on any used k-cup so it can be re-used.
One that has been around for awhile and used to be quite popular is the
My K-cup. If you go to the
Refillable Coffee Pod page you will find the very popular and reasonably priced
Solofill Cup, Refillable K-Cup For Keurig K-Cup Brewers. There are several other styles listed on this page. Check them all out, I am sure you will find one to your liking.
Once you have found the refillable k-cup coffee pod that you want, you will be able to use any coffee or tea that you like. You will no longer be limited by what you can buy pre-made by Keurig. So why wait around for your favorite blend to show up in a manufactured k-cup? Just make your own.
