Like most other single serve coffeemakers, this one also uses pre-measured coffee pods. You get several sizes of pods to choose from, up to 10 ounces. Senseo uses coffee pods by Douwe Egberts brand from Sara Lee. The spout can be adjusted for different size coffee mugs and cups. You can choose between a 3 oz, 4 oz, 5oz, 6 oz, 8oz or 10 oz coffee cup or mug. The number of pods used is dependent upon the flavor you want for the size of coffee mug you choose. All the parts can be washed in the dishwasher. Parts that are removable for easy cleaning include the drip tray, coffee spout, reservoir, metal cup tray, and the pod holders. Easy to use, just push a button, and in less than 60 seconds you have a hot brewed cup of coffee. Something a little different is a "frothing chamber", this gives your brew a frothy layer of coffee. Has an interactive LCD display, and indicator lights for the water level. Has a large water reservoir, 32 ounce size and removable. The coffeemaker measures 13 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide, and a depth of 8 1/2 inches. The difference between the Supreme model and the original model is you can brew up to 10 ounces in the Supreme, and up to 8 ounces in the original model. The body is also available in chrome silver, and the water reservoir is 33% larger than the older model. Unit comes with a two year limited warranty. Senseo Supreme 7832 Single-Serve Gourmet Coffeemaker Customer reviews are largely favorable, but like always, there are some negatives. Senseo Supreme 7832 PROS: One of the advantages stated is that the unit doesn't have an exposed heating element. This is a good feature for dormitory rooms and assisted living or nursing homes. Most of these places won't allow appliances that have exposed heating elements. The speed of brewing was mentioned quite often. CONS: One of the reasons cited were that it wouldn't accommodate a larger mug than the original. The spout is the same height as before, it just adjusts down now when it didn't adjust before. If you have a larger mug you may need to brew 2 pods first, and than brew another pod to fill the cup. However, other reviews stated that you could use 3 pods at one time for the larger mug. Some reviews stated that the differences between the new Senseo Supreme 7832 Single-Serve Gourmet Coffeemaker and the older original model are not worth the extra price for the Supreme. Mentioned several times was the poor fitting water reservoir. Post Your Submission HereIf you would like to write a review please fill in the form below. For questions please be specific.
