This blend is one of Starbucks most popular coffees due to the intense flavor. Even though it is an extra bold flavor, this blend contains the same amount of caffeine as other Starbucks coffees. The beans come from the hardiest Latin American coffees so that they can hold up to the dark roast without being burnt in flavor. This provides for a blunt, smoky flavor with only the slightest residual acidity. Even though this is a dark roast, the body is blunt.
Starbucks recommends that once the package is opened, you reseal in an airtight container and use within a week . Should also be stored in a dry, cool location. Like Starbucks other coffees, this blend is selected carefully from only the best green beans and then expertly roasted.
Starbucks Trivia: Did you know that Starbucks will be offering a combo of coffee and a new sandwich called the Artisan Ham Sandwich at the low price of $3.95 beginning Mar 3rd, 2009.
