This is an Irish breakfast tea that is a blend of teas that is a pungent amber brew that is favored by the Irish. As blended by Twinings this tea is a good "sipping tea" in that it is smooth and doesn't require any sugar or milk even though it is a robust and full-bodied tea. It has a nose of tobacco plus a pidgen of brown sugar when infused and the color is mahogany. No astringency or bitterness noticed in the brew.
Due to the kick from the caffeine content you might want to refrain from drinking this particular tea anytime near bedtime. It gives quite a caffeine buzz which might prevent you from getting to sleep.

This is a fine Irish Breakfast tea that is a strong tea, yet smooth and full flavored. Tastes great alone or with sugar and milk, or maybe lemon. Gives you quite a caffeine "kick" to wake you up in the morning, just don't drink near bedtime unless you like staying awake at night. The price is very reasonable when compared to your local grocer.
